Hi, I’m Ashley — the maker, mama, and heart behind Farmhouse Tees.
I’m a proud farm wife to my hardworking husband and mama to four growing boys. We live on a little patch of land along the Iowa–South Dakota border, where farm life means muddy boots, mended fences, cows in the yard, and a whole lot of laundry.
Before this chapter, I worked over nine years as a Registered Nurse, caring for others in big and small ways. But after our third son was born, I felt a quiet nudge — to come home, be present, and build something steady for our family and this rural life we love.
I needed a creative outlet — something just for me.
That’s when this journey began.
What started in 2020 with handmade bows turned into something more meaningful. After running Cherry Avenue Co and taking on custom designs for schools, local businesses, and rural communities, I found what I truly loved: creating graphic tees that speak to the heart of the rural mom, the farm wife, and the small-town women keeping things running behind the scenes.
And so, Farmhouse Tees was born.
Every shirt is printed right here in my farmhouse basement — between supper, feed runs, and family life — with love, intention, and a deep respect for the women wearing them. These aren’t just tees. They’re a reminder that your unseen work matters, that you’re doing more than enough, and that you’re not alone in the beautiful chaos of everyday life.
