What began as handmade bows turned into Cherry Avenue Co., where I took on custom designs for rural small businesses locally and attended vendor events selling graphic tees. Through that work, I realized the designs I loved creating most were for farm wives, rural moms, and country women; the ones balancing full days, loving their families deeply, and quietly carrying so much behind the scenes. Farmhouse Tees grew from that love of creating pieces that feel personal, comfortable, and made for the life they live every day.

Farm Wife, Mama & the Heart Behind Farmhouse Tees
Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a farm wife to my hardworking husband, mama to four wonderful boys, and the woman behind this little shop. We live on a little patch of land along the Iowa–South Dakota border, where the days are long, the boots are always muddy, and the laundry never really ends. Before Farmhouse Tees, I spent over nine years as a Registered Nurse. I loved caring for people and the work I was able to do. But after our third son was born, something shifted. I felt pulled to be more present in the life we were already living, to build something meaningful while staying rooted in home, family, and the everyday rhythm of rural life.
Farm wife, mama, and small business owner.
Fueled by creativity, rural roots, and simple living.
Most at home somewhere between family, farm life, and everyday moments.
Farmhouse Tees serve women and families across the Midwest and beyond, but no matter where you are, if you love the land, the life, and the people around you, you belong here.
Made in My Farmhouse Basement
Every single shirt is printed right here in my farmhouse basement, between laundry piles, bookkeeping, grocery runs, and the busy moments of everyday life. There’s no warehouse and no big operation behind it all. Just me, my press, and a whole lot of heart going into every order.
